Interview at Betasso Preserve

Today I met with Nicole at Betasso Preserve in Boulder to shoot her interview for her and Steven's love story. They hired me to shoot their wedding in New Orleans in March, and wanted me to create a love story video to play at their rehearsal dinner. The setting at Betasso made a lovely backdrop. I'm sure all of her friends and family in New Orleans will be excited to see where she is living now - and I'm sure they aren't use to seeing mountains and snow!

Jay J's Reception

Yesterday I shot the reception for Jay J and his wife. The wedding reception was held at Maharaja Restaurant in Superior. This group was a lot of fun, and had a great time dancing all night. The food was amazing! Thanks for letting me be a part of your day.

Back to Chicago!

Today I head back to Chicago to shoot a wedding for Diana and Jesse. It'll be nice to go back, after being in Denver for awhile now. Diana and Jesse make such a fun couple, I'm sure their wedding will be fun to shoot!

Debie & Scot's Wedding

Yesterday I shot Debie and Scot's wedding and everything went well. Debie and Scot were both very friendly and great to work with. It was a perfect sunny day; the ceremony was held at the First Congregational Church in Boulder, after they just completed a beautiful renovation. It was also nice that the church had a balcony for my second camera, so I could get a cool overview of the entire ceremony and guests. Afterwards, the reception was held at the D-Barn in Longmont, which was a fun place. One of the highlights of the evening was when a little girl got ahold of the microphone and starting talking about all the different things she could do, and told us all about her 3 dogs! She probably would have kept going if someone didn't coax the mic away from her haha! The day went great, Debie and Scot make a great couple and I wish them the best.

Peter and Heather

Time to start editing

I just got back from Peter and Heather's wedding and it was a blast. The Boettcher Mansion is a beautiful place for a wedding. Everything went smoothly, and I had a great time. First wedding in Colorado

Today I got word about filming my first wedding with Rising Moon in Colorado. It's on August 12th at the Boettcher Mansion in Golden, Colorado. Since I'm new to the Denver area, I have never filmed a wedding there, and I'm looking forward to it. Peter and Heather seem like nice people so I'm glad that I can help them out with their video.
