Somer's Bat Mitzvah, Part 2

Yesterday was Somer's Bat Mitzvah, and then her party following. The party was held at the JW Marriott in Cherry Creek. The room was decorated amazingly - probably one of the coolest themes I've seen! The theme for the evening was the Oscars, and the entrance to the party room was adorned by two giant Oscar statues. One of Somer's friends stood by the entrance and interviewed friends and family before they entered the room. The party got underway by Somer handing out awards (little Oscar statues) to friends and family that had helped her and supported her along the way. After dinner, the dancing got started - and everyone was having a lot of fun, kids and adults! Everyone was exhausted by the end of the night, but it was a great time.
