Somer's Bat Mitzvah, Part 2

Yesterday was Somer's Bat Mitzvah, and then her party following. The party was held at the JW Marriott in Cherry Creek. The room was decorated amazingly - probably one of the coolest themes I've seen! The theme for the evening was the Oscars, and the entrance to the party room was adorned by two giant Oscar statues. One of Somer's friends stood by the entrance and interviewed friends and family before they entered the room. The party got underway by Somer handing out awards (little Oscar statues) to friends and family that had helped her and supported her along the way. After dinner, the dancing got started - and everyone was having a lot of fun, kids and adults! Everyone was exhausted by the end of the night, but it was a great time. Thanks to the Reznick family for letting me be a part of it!

Somer's Bat Mitzvah

Today I shot Somer's Bat Mitzvah rehearsal. It went pretty well, and she did a great job! I'm excited to shoot the party tomorrow, which should be a blast.

Nicole and Steven

We just got back from New Orleans a few days ago, and the wedding went great! Nicole and Steven chose to get married at a plantation house outside of the city. The weather was perfect, sunny and warm. Before the ceremony, we shot some footage of Nicole and Steven in Jefferson Square in the French Quarter.
